My friend said that the Marriott should have offered a free dinner or breakfast at the very least for this inconvenience of having to put up with the unruly noise and then to relocating. In retrospect, I should have known to do something as I have heard other hotels doing something of this nature as a form of compensation. The fire alarm went off and guests didn’t know what it was for several minutes until there was a barely audible announcement. We had to spend a lot of time outdoors before we could go back inside.

Their focus is on saving money, not customer service. The only good things to say about it are its location is great, and the rooms are a decent size. There were shopping malls and the shops right by the hotel. There’s Level One with nice shots just next door to the venue.
Given that Booked.net didnt allow cancellations, I was not able to book somewhere else. When talking to staff and front desk i got different times for the pool than was posted. The pool closed early and was closed in the middle of the afternoon. The life guard allowed parents to bring in beer and thus they were not watching their kids. We were very disappointed in how the pool operated.

The girl on the front desk was disinterested and dismissive and we had slow service on check in and several other occasions even though there were no other guests around. In the end the doorman checked us in to the hotel, which is not the courteous or professional welcome we would expect. The cordless phone in the room was broken and annoying. We were told that there were no plans to fix it and we should use the other phone.
The walls in my r oom were grey which I found depressing and they messed up my order on my breakfast room service which was expensive to begin with. Only choice for parking was valet at $20/night. Also, our air conditioner unit buzzed loudly all night. I also liked the valet parking it makes it so much easier with all your bags and if you have to go in and out.
