Western Youth Network for Development
Western Youth Network for Development (WYNED) is a registered youth development group formed three years ago with the main aim of creating a positive change in our community by developing strong partnerships between major community stakeholders, youth related organisations and community development agencies to help create opportunities for youths to serve the community.
The priority areas of the organisation include Education and Skills training, Youth participation in governance, Youth Enterprise Development and Information Communication Technology.
Some of the activities of the group under Education and skills training include the “High School Career Development and Mentorship Tour” dubbed the High School Talk Tour, Provision of Literacy Skills Development support among youth in Information Technology (The PLAY IT Project), HUBwestern (Incubation, co working space and funding) and currently Step-up TVET dubbed the TVET Talk Tour across the basic schools within the metropolis and the Region
