African Youth Leadership Consult(AYLC) is an NGO made up of prodigious African Youth who are passionate about Africa’s development, leadership and volunteerism. AYLC helps ensure youth participation in decision making process so as to promote youth governance in Africa. Our ultimate aim is to help unite African Youth through effective leadership as well as project the values and relevance of AU through Simulation of the African Union(AU).


The African Youth Leadership Consult (AYLC) was formed with the overall mission of boosting the spirit of leadership in African Youth in order to enable them to play their rightful role as future leaders while at the same time fostering unity and help solve economic, political and social problems currently plaguing our continent.


The AYLC is based on the common vision of a united and strong Africa and on the need to build a partnership between governments and all segments of civil society, in particular women, youth and other Youth NGOs, in order to strengthen solidarity and cohesion among the Youth of Africa. It focuses on the promotion of peace, love and tranquility.


Encouraging the Youth of Africa to take up leadership responsibilities so as to effectively participate in decision making process.
To promote unity and solidarity among the youth of Africa through incorporation
To empower the youth to be global citizens; that is, to be dedicated to support international cooperation and share global mindset.
To promote youth governance through AU simulation.
To bridge the gap of gender inequality, racism, tribalism and political division in Africa.
